The Spartanburg Running Club was founded in 1989. The SRC is open to anyone interested in running. The SRC is a family-oriented, non-profit organization devoted to providing our members with the opportunity to meet and associate with others who are interested in running. Runners of all abilities are welcome, from beginner to the elite, competitive runner. We have a club meeting each month (except during summer). These meetings allow club members to discuss club business and events, as well as socialize and listen to informative guest speakers. We also host a high school cross country awards banquet in November to recognize the achievements of our local student-athletes. We encourage anyone interested in running to become a member!
