Club Bio

The Palouse Runners was started in about 1973 to organize the “First Annual Crazy Days Run” between Pullman and Moscow. In the late 1970s or early 1980s, it became Moscow Road Runners, largely overseen by Archie George. In 1991, at the Depot in Pullman, the group was reorganized as the Palouse Road Runners. The Palouse Road Runners serves the community by: - promoting healthy running and exercise, - conducting competitive well-organized races, - encouraging workouts on trails of (un)known distances, - assisting many other community organizations who want to sponsor fun-run events, and - elevating running to the esteemed status it so richly deserves in the Moscow/Pullman communities!
