Club Bio

The PaceSetters of the Fox Cities is made up of active individuals and families with the common interest of friendships, exercise, and better health & nutrition. It was started in 1983 and we are still running (and walking). The Club is comprised of everything from non-competitive recreational runners and walkers to seasoned veterans of numerous marathons and ultra-marathons. The PaceSetters band together at year round fun events designed for all abilities. In addition to weekly run/walk events and monthly fun run/walks, the PaceSetters put on the St. Joe's Run. The club wants to help those interested in running and walking but don’t know how to get started. Running 101, Marathon and Half Marathon 101 are just the classes for beginners, novices, or those who used to run but have not done so for quite a few years. As Runners and Walkers have weekly outings on Saturday mornings. Want to learn more? We provide guidance in training for events like the Fox Cities Marathon Weekend of Races. Our quarterly meetings include both local and nationally known speakers. We also have a “Night at the TimberRattlers” and throw in a couple of parties as well. The Pacesetters of the Fox Cities is a 501(c)3 tax exempt, non-profit running club dedicated to increasing activity, improving nutrition, and enhancing our community’s and member’s enjoyment of the sports of running, jogging, walking, and individual health activities for all ages and abilities. These are some of ways we give back to the communities: volunteering at events, providing scholarships to College Bound Students Free Fun Runs, Educational Programs on Fitness and networking resources within our members.
