Club Bio

Nolensville Running Club (NRC) is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization that was founded in March of 2010. Initially called the Hog Drivers (don't ask), the name Nolensville Running Club seemed a little more appropriate and was adapted a couple of months later. Today, NRC is more than just a running club. It is a family of individuals who share a passion for "traveling" the streets of Nolensville every Wednesday evening and Saturday morning. We also have a passion for contributing to our community and support several local organizations, including Change For A Chance, The Nolensville Food Pantry, and Tucker's House. Once per year, the Nolensville Running Club conducts a free Couch-to-5k program. This is a 8 week program that begins in April and concludes in June with the Change For a Chance 5k. NRC meets at the Nolensville Town Hall every Wednesday at 6:15pm while the Saturday morning group meets at Mama's Java. The website (www.nolensvillerunningclub.com) is updated every Friday with details (time/distance/pace) regarding the Saturday morning running plans since the meeting times, etc. vary week by week. NRC has runners/walkers of all skill levels and paces and we welcome and encourage anyone who wants to come out and meet some great people while getting in a little exercise.
