Club Bio

Indiana Road Runners Club, located in Indiana, Pennsylvania, was founded in the early 1980's by a small group of running enthusiasts. One of the early club events was The Fool's Run 10K, a race for which we celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2018. Membership in Indiana Road Runners Club is open to all runners and walkers, and to those interested in the sport of running. Our membership consists of runners who race from distances ranging from one mile to the ultra-marathon distances of 50 and 100 miles, as well as members who simply enjoy running for fun and for the health benefits that the sport provides. In addition to the weekly Club Fun Run, many IRRC members meet at other times during the week for smaller group runs, including long runs on weekends for those training for marathons. You and the members of your family will also enjoy many social activities throughout the year, a New Year's Day Fun Run and Party, a Spring Banquet, a Summer Picnic, and a Christmas Party. Belonging to Indiana Road Runners Club is a great way to get to know other runners in the community.
