Club Bio
San Francisco Road Runners Club, founded in 2001, is the largest running club in the City with now more than 500 members, and growing, along with 15 pace group leaders and coaches who lead group runs and workouts. Members must abide by our SFRRC Code of Conduct Policy. Our #1 priority is to provide a place of safe/healthy running and community. Our mission is to build and strengthen the running community in San Francisco while inspiring and supporting people in the process. We’re continually trying new ways provide an enjoyable, healthy, and safe running environment for our members along with running education nights (featuring national recognized runners/authors) and social events. We provide multiple group runs each week and training programs to support local/major marathons and half marathons. SFRRC is a proud member of the Road Runners Club of America (rrca.org), a national organization that promotes distance running. Per requirements for membership, we follow RRCA guidelines and our SFRRC Bylaws with full transparency. We hope you can come join us!
