The GDTC is a fun club made up of approachable people whose only goal is to promote running at all levels of interest and abilities. The club has several long-running signature events such as the GDTC Turkey Trot, the Kids Summer Fun Runs, and the Boston Prep 16 Miler. Each are decades old and are widely acclaimed. Nearly forty years after its founding, the GDTC continues to grow, but still maintains the small town mystique of its founding. The club is proud to be known as the "best fun running club in New England" and hopes to strengthen and maintain that image well into the future.
