Club Bio

Fort Collins Trail Runners is a running group that provides a safe, supportive, and welcoming space for ALL runners, regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, socioeconomic status, or pace. Our running brings us together to build a better community, both in running and beyond. We stand united with all people, including our members and community, who are affected by hateful, racist and violent acts in our country. We denounce the violence against Black people and we oppose all forms of bigotry, racism and violence. We are a free group for anyone who wants to run trails in the Fort Collins area. We run local trails in and around Fort Collins (Pineridge, Reservoir Ridge, Horsetooth, Blue Sky, Devils Backbone, Lory State Park, Poudre Canyon, Buckhorn, Pingree Park, Thompson Canyon, Cameron Pass, State Forest State Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, etc.). While we are primarily focused on local trail running, we run a bit of everything – roads and road races from 5k to marathon, easy runs on bike paths and streets around town, track workouts, and charity fundraisers. We have free regular group runs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings which will be posted here on a weekly basis, along with a ladies-only speed workout Tuesday mornings. There are often weekend runs as well. Click on the "Events" menu item of this board to see what's on tap.
