Who are we? The Brazosport Area Road Runners Association (BARRA) was established in the early 90's by a group of runners that wanted to reorganize an earlier group named "Lake Jackson Running Club". We are a diverse in ages, professions, and goals but love the sport of running. Mission Statement: Our purpose is to promote and encourage competitive and recreational running throughout the Greater Brazosport Area. Our focus is on health, fitness, and enjoyment of running. What do we do? We run, we jog, and/or we walk.
