Club Bio

The Bay Area Runners Club (BARC) is made up of runners and walkers from the mid-eastern counties of Michigan, mainly Bay, Midland and Saginaw counties. BARC puts on or assists with over 30 race events each year on a year-round basis. Most races are 5K to 10K in distance. All of BARC's races are made up of runners and walkers of all fitness and experience levels. Benefits of becoming a member include receiving a discount on entry fees at most BARC races and receiving the club's quarterly newsletter, FOOTPRINTS. More benefits are being announced soon! BARC also holds club meetings once a month. These meetings are open to all club members and anyone interested in knowing what's happening within our club. Meetings are usually held at the Alice & Jack Wirt Public Library, 500 Center Ave., Bay City, MI 48708. Contact a club representative for more information.
